Charles Jensen is the author of three poetry collections (most recently Instructions between Takeoff and Landing), seven chapbooks, and the forthcoming Splice of Life: A Memoir in 13 Film Genres (Santa Fe Writers Project, 2024). His poems have appeared in American Poetry Review, New England Review, Prairie Schooner, and elsewhere. The City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs designated him a 2019-2020 Cultural Trailblazer.
