Christy Lee Barnes is an educator originally from Los Angeles, transplanted to the Pacific Northwest, where she lives with her husband and son. She’s published in Prairie Schooner, Cream City Review, Stirring, Tin House Online, Spillway, McSweeney’s, The Comstock Review, and elsewhere. Her poems have been nominated for Best of the Net and the Pushcart. Her first chapbook, Commodore Rookery, is forthcoming this August.
