Franziska Hofhansel is a writer and barista living in Missoula, Montana, where she recently completed her MFA in fiction. She is the recipient of a Truman Capote Fellowship, a finalist in the 2020 ACM Nick Adams Short Story Contest, and the author of the chapbooks Sorry to Miss You (Dead Mall Press, 2023) and Self-Portrait of the Artist Stupid with Grief (Another New Calligraphy, 2024). Her work has appeared in Gone Lawn (where it was nominated for Best of the Net in Poetry), Rejection Letters, Prolit, and After Happy Hour Review.
