Neil Aitken is the author of Babbage’s Dream (Sundress Publications, 2017) and The Lost Country of Sight (Anhinga, 2008), winner of the Philip Levine Prize, as well as the librettist for Star Singer, a full-length opera composed by Juhi Bansal. The founding editor of Boxcar Poetry Review (2006-2021) and past Kundiman fellow, his own poems have appeared in The Adroit Journal, American Literary Review, Crab Orchard Review, Ninth Letter, Southern Poetry Review, and elsewhere. He recently completed his third terminal degree and now lives in Toronto, where he writes and works at the intersection of technology and the humanities.
