moving box

I wake up in the dream and there you are packing unpacking repacking there I am unpacking what you have packed repacking what you have unpacked always among the trunks and chests and crates until the penny drops that it’s that night again those boxes that we’re going to keep meeting here until I finally learn or you do and I dream walking away I dream stepping on the boat—one of us—setting off for a shore shore where what

we have carried lives lives in the trees slips

through grasses sings sings through an air

where one can unpack move in stay stay

moving box
